I picked this up thinking it might buy me a few quiet minutes while my kid played around with it on their own. That didn’t really happen. Pretty much right away, they were asking me where to tap, what to do next, or how to get back to something, and after a little bit they just lost interest.
It might be fine if you’re planning to sit there and guide them through the whole thing, but that wasn’t what I was looking for. For the price, I expected it to feel more simple and self-guided. Kind of a letdown.

The books are cute and my kid enjoys looking through them, but the cultural parts felt a little surface level to me. I just think if you’re going to include different cultures, it’s only fair to put in the care to make them feel real and relatable, not just like a theme added on top

I really wanted this to be something my kid could use on their own, but that just wasn’t the case. I ended up having to sit there and help every single time, which got frustrating. It’s fine, I guess, but not exactly the independent activity I was hoping for.

I was excited when we first ordered it, and for the first few days my kid seemed into it. But by the end of the first week, the interest had already started fading, and after about a month it was barely being touched. The concept is nice, but for what we actually got out of it, it felt way too expensive. Once shipping and the little extras were added in, the total felt even harder to justify. looking back, I feel like I paid more for the hype than real long-term value. I wouldn’t buy it again at this price.

I’m still waiting for an actual fix. this just confirms what I already suspected, they weren’t really going to take care of the problem. Nothing has changed, and no one actually fixed anything.

It’s decent. Not amazing or anything, and there are a few things that could be better, but overall it gets the job done

I ordered a few things from habbihabbi and, for the most part, everything showed up correctly. One of the books wasn’t the one I chose, though, which was frustrating. I’m not sure if it was just a packing mistake or if they sent a substitute hoping I wouldn’t notice, but either way it was annoying to sort out. Shipping was okay and the rest of the order looked good. Customer service did get back to me after a little while, so that helped, but overall it was just a average experience.

I’ve been trying to use the app, but it crashes or just doesn’t load about half the time. It’s really frustrating, especially when you’re just trying to get something done quickly. What makes it worse is it feels like their policies give them an easy loophole to avoid actually fixing the issue or taking responsibility. Annoying experience overall.

I liked the idea of these books right away, especially the bilingual part. My kid did start picking up new words, and I could see little patterns in what they remembered best, like certain animals or repeated phrases showing up again in conversation later. The books are cute and easy to go through together. That said, after a while I started noticing we were reaching for them less, and for the price it feels a bit limited. Still glad we tried them, just not something that stayed in heavy rotation for us.

My kid only used these a handful of times before the pages started coming loose (which was frustrating). They’re cute, but definitely not sturdy enough for everyday use.

For the price, I was expecting something a lot more polished. So yeah, not exactly the language-learning win I had in mind.

My kid will tap the page and sometimes nothing happens until they try a few more times, and other times it reacts so slowly that they just give up and walk away. I even replaced the batteries and tested it with different books, so it’s clearly not something we’re doing wrong. For what this costs, the company should be embarrassed that the main feature works this poorly...

I was disappointed with this. It felt cheap right out of the box, and then it broke way faster than I expected. I kind of had that “why is this so complicated?” reaction too, because it just wasn’t worth the hassle.

I bought this for my kid because it seemed like a cute little book, but the battery life has been disappointing. We only used it a handful of times before it started cutting off, even after putting in fresh batteries.
It’s frustrating because my kid will be getting into it and then it just stops working. At first I thought maybe we accidentally left it on, but it happened again with new batteries, so that doesn’t seem to be the issue.
For what it costs, I expected it to last a lot longer between battery changes. It’s a nice idea, but if I’m constantly buying batteries for it, it doesn’t really feel worth the money...

I really wanted to like habbihabbi because I’ve heard good things and I usually stick with brands once I find something that works for my kid. At first, it was fun and my child was into it, but after a little while the content started to feel limited. It kind of felt like the same types of activities and topics were coming up over and over, and my kid lost interest faster than I expected. For the price, I was hoping there would be more variety and more new things to keep us coming back. I’m torn because I like the idea of the brand, but in practice it just didn’t have enough to hold our attention long term

I don’t know, the site was just kind of confusing for me. I had a hard time figuring out where to go and how to use it, so it ended up being more frustrating than I expected.

The illustrations are really cute and fun, and I do like the overall look. That said, a few pages feel crowded, like my eyes have to work way too hard to figure out where to focus. It’s a little tiring and feels like wasted energy when the design could’ve been cleaner. Still nice overall, I just wish some parts had more breathing room.

My package arrived beat up, which was disappointing. The box was crushed, the tape was barely holding on, and the corners of the book were bent too. I know shipping can be rough sometimes, but this definitely felt like it could’ve been packed better

I bought this for a birthday gift, it was kind of a letdown when it showed up. The packaging didn’t feel gift-like at all, so I ended up having to explain what it even was, which kind of defeats the point. For the price, I feel like they could’ve made it look a little more special. It might be fine if you’re buying it for your own kid, but I wouldn’t choose it as a gift again...
